Eric Maxwell

Founder, CEO Wealth Management Director

Eric started as a bond broker in San Francisco in the late 80’s. In 2015 he founded Maxwell Wealth, a Nationally approved S.E.C. Registered Investment Advisory Firm. He offers his clients a seasoned and intuitive approach to investing as he assists them with a host of life-changing financial decisions. He frequently leverages the extensive scope of financial planning technology and research tools that his firm has acquired and partnered with to better assist his clients with their financial goals.

Between being a bond broker in those early days and founding Maxwell Wealth, Eric graduated from California State University, East Bay with a B.S. degree in financial management. While at CSUEB, he enjoyed a focus on economics and finance and was fortunate to learn from many great professors with real world experience that helped to deepen his core values. During his 12 plus years at Bank of America Investments (now Merrill Lynch) and after that as S.V.P. financial advisor at Morgan Stanley (for over eight years), Eric kept his focus on the client’s needs first. Eric believes in forming long-term relationships with his clients and surrounding himself with like-minded industry professionals that display the highest of standards.

An avid supporter of local causes in the Tri-Valley, Eric joined the Open-Heart Kitchen Board of Directors in December of 2018. His last position at O.H.K. was as treasurer. He still advocates for this local charity that serves prepared, nutritious meals free of charge to hungry people in our local Tri-Valley community.

Eric and his wife, Jacque, both have deep roots in the community and enjoyed watching their three daughters attend the same high school they did many years ago. (Go Falcons!) Now they are both relishing their new roles as Pa and Mema!
